![]() The township was named after Joseph Brick, the owner of Bergen Iron Works located on the Metedeconk River. Brick Township was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 15, 1850, from portions of both Dover Township (now Toms River Township) and Howell Township. The mainland and beach area of the town are not geographically adjacent. Ocean Beaches I, II, and III are situated on the Barnegat Peninsula, a long, narrow barrier peninsula that separates Barnegat Bay from the Atlantic Ocean. ![]() I would definitely recommend Midstream Rentals for individuals, couples, friends, and families for an active yet restoring and renewing activity.Close ▲ The historic First Baptist Church of Laurelton in Brick Township, located on New Jersey State Route 88Ī majority of Brick Township is located on the mainland. It was very relaxing, and it felt as if we were out in the middle of nowhere even though we were close to town. There was an abundance of wildlife on and around the pond, and though we were close to civilization, throughout the entire time, we saw no motorized vehicles, nor did we hear noise from roadways or any other sources. We went west from the launch onto Forge Pond and beyond. They were all a good quality as were the oars we were provided. We rented 3 single person sit on kayaks, and one tandem kayak. My experience with Midstream Rentals was wonderful. Being from Arizona, I enjoy the outdoors, nature and a peaceful tranquil environment. Though I passed the entrance the first time, it was completely worth the frustration of the drive getting there. There's a median on Route 70, and if you pass the entrance you have to go quite a ways before getting to the first cloverleaf where you can make a u-turn. ![]() My nephew, great nephews, great niece and I went to Midstream Rentals recently. ![]()
